John Butler


John Butler

The Skinhead raised in the United Kingdom as a youth culture in early 70’s. John Butler is one of the first of the second coming of Skinhead. He usually gets up at early in the morning. He have a shower and dress up with jeans from Levis, white t-shirt from Fred Perry’s or a shirt from button-down, black leather jacket and boots or steel-toed brogues, he don’t wear braces. He go to the work, he worked mostly labouring, he had good job before digging roads to be tarmacked and he did it because of the money. He spent his money on going out and beer. In the evening he go to the Bridge first then the Roebuck, Kings Road till about eleven. Always there is a party. He does not get in fights and do not go out for fights. He likes to listen to black popular music for example soul, ska, rock steady and early reggae.

The Wag Club



- The Wag Club is a nightclub, founded in London since 1981. This club was focused for club land innovation, catalyst for racial integration and a temple.

- On the dance floor, regulars included Boy George, John Galliano, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Neneh Cherry, Michael Clark and Leigh Bowery.

- The club Hosted by Chris Sullivan and Ollie O`Donnell, with the original DJs, Hector Heathcote and Paul Guntrip, supplying a club soundtrack very similar to Le Beat Route, its emphasis on the Funk, both old and new.

The Great Gatsby





The Great Gatsby movies was written and directed by Baz Luhrmann. the cast starring are Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton. diffidently the movie successed because of these great actors and actress.

The movie was doesn’t just repeat the 1920’s detail, but it shows also the themes and characters details of the lifestyle of American Society. The location was amazing with a beautiful detailed decoration in every level and in every room and doors.

There were four brands created collection for The Great Gatsby movie which is Tiffany & Co., Brooks Brothers, Prada and Warby Parker.

The movie had great scenes of the party scene in that era in 1920's, and showed the glam life, it inspired me to want to do better to enjoy such a extravagant life. Costume designer Catherine Martin did a wonderful job in the choices for the film. I had really enjoy the movie and I recommend everyone to watch it.
